Chocolate Chip Cookie Bark!

Valentines day or any day crunchy and caramelized cookie treats....

Playing with an idea for Valentine’s Day... I always make treats for friends and employees... Today I made a chocolate chip cookie bark with pulverized hard caramel candy sprinkled on top before baking... The cookie bark smells amazing! I used every heart cookie cutter I have plus a few others to cut shapes into the baked dough as soon as it came out of the oven. Some of the cookie cutters stayed with the cookie in them which is what I had hope for, but for the cutters that came off, the cookie shapes themselves are very smooth and clean cut, which is perfect and also so hard to achieve with a chocolate chip cookie dough that’s not a shortbread. I want that chocolate chip cookie taste in a cookie bark form....then the rest uncut dough I wanted to break up into chunks like a chocolate bark. I bagged one of each and I’m pretty pleased! Very cute! I want to try reducing the butter a bit in the recipe bc I find them to be a bit greasy but work in progress. Not bad for stage 1. Recipe to
